Whether you are running away from routine, looking for spirited experiences or just traveling around with low budget, you will be delighted at every moment at this immaculate and peculiar country.

This is an excellent year-round travel destination because of its proximity to the equator and diverse regions to visit.  Most of Ecuador’s territory  oscillates wet and dry periods instead of rotating through four seasons.

Take a look of this featured video from The Lonely Planet about the best times in the year to visit Ecuador.

This is the general weather course for each region:

The Amazon region has a humid, rainy and warm climate throughout the year with an average temperature of 72ºF to 80º F (23ºC to 26ºC). The drier season is between November to February -the best season to practice whitewater sports. The Andean highlands climate fluctuates depending on the altitude and time of the year. In Quito the temperature ranges from 55º F (7ºC) at night, to 78ºF 26ºC) at noon, at an average of 64º F (15 ºC). The best period for mountaineering is usually from September to February, avoid wettest (March and April) and driest seasons (July and August) as the progression on the glacier becomes more technical.

The Pacific lowlands or coast climate is very warm with temperatures around the 76’s 90’s (ºF) almost all the year. This region presents a dry season from July to November in the north, and from May to December in the south, and a wet season -December to June in the north, January to April in the south. The Galápagos Islands have a very warm and dry weather year-round with an average temperature of 85ºF (28º C).
